More scenery projects at The Model Railroad Club.

Location: North Hampton

Project: Repair and replace damaged trees, add new ones, add static grass, etc.

The loop at North Hampton before the new work.

And after.

Location: Harbourton, North Hampton and Bernardsville

Project: Repair and replace damaged trees, add new ones, add static grass, etc. The usual stuff.

The Farm scene in Harbourton before being redone.

And after.

Another shot before featuring the typical collection of broken and faded trees.

And after. The goal here was to create a hay field that has been partially plowed.

A before shot of the same area, this time as seen from the opposite aisle.

And after.

Back again to the first aisle, another before shot.

I'm not a big fan of clump foliage but we have a ton of it on the layout and a bunch more to use up. When it gets dirty if you run a vacuum over it and then give it a quick spray of water it will look brand new again. Take a look at the clump foliage on the bottom right of this shot then compare it to the next one.

After shot. Can you see the difference in the clump foliage?

A little to the right. Before...

And after.

Back to the opposite aisle. Before...

And after.

Location: Summit

Project: Repair and replace damaged trees, add new ones, add static grass, etc.

A before shot.

After shot.

Before.

After.

A couple of shots looking across the Summit trench at some refreshed scenery.

A shot looking down the Summit trench with new trees on both sides.

Location: Jim Thorpe

Project: Repair and replace damaged trees, add new ones, add static grass, etc.

The ridge above Jim Thorpe with the old and dusty trees that have been there for a quarter century.

Same spot after the addition of static grass and some of the trees reconditioned.

Location: Ashland

Project: Repair and replace damaged trees, add new ones, add static grass, the usual stuff.

Well, I had a shot of this spot in Ashland before I did the new work that you see here but I erased it before transferring it from my camera to the computer. Doah!

A little to the right. This is a before shot.

And after.

Locations: Gilberton and Ashland

Some new bushes.

To see how these were made click on the "Making Bushes" page.

Here's a short video that shows before and after shots of the scenery work.
